My Denial 03:29
In my safe haven I'm protected Free to take another breath Answers to all my questions running rampant Simple as it may seem I cannot run I cannot hide I'm an angel I'm the devil And both I deny Beating heart, could it beat any faster? Sometimes I wish it would just stop Strong stand the walls of my denial Long stay the scars that it brings I cannot run I cannot hide I'm an angel I'm the devil And both I deny I can't take another second I won't last another day If there's 'cause let it be ever shouldered Sometimes I don't know what I want I cannot run I cannot hide I'm an angel I'm the devil And both I deny

Feel a shadow coming up behind me It's icy hand soon resting on my shoulder Mother do you know what it's like To be every bit the stranger in all that you know Hey mother where's your little daughter What do your arms surround Do you remember the eyes that saw you for the first time And never after Well they're here and looking fast behind me From side to side in every waking moment From oceans near and oceans far To the very biggest cities and towns so small These are the ways and the wounds of my world Every day I walk another mile and Every night I dream another dream where I curse everything I've ever loved I've destroyed every home that took me in I think of all the things that I would tell you I picture how so tight I would hold you And how I would forgive all I missed And cherish every second that we would spend Still I wait but how much longer Mother please put to sleep your little daughter I can't sleep I have no strenght My blood boils fast from this fire within These are the ways and the wounds of my world

My love I find myself in you Too long the search Will again we find? Put on your face my love Remember to forget The mirror lies One chance one love In this life was ours Your eyes to my soul Two hearts as one Put on your face my love Remember to forget The mirror lies There is nothing I can do There is nothing I can say But what is written here In music and verse I carry every second of you With me each day Your innocent smile And a single white rose From me you turn From truth we run In loss I die We are what love is Put on your face my love Remember to forget The mirror lies

Somewhere 04:32
Shadows run so mysterious Silhouetted as they pirouette Behind the stairs that take them farther from home 17th street, Tenth Avenue The ice age fell so just deal with it Put your gloves in your pocket boy, let's go to war Light years from the parking lot I once played And the bed last night where I laid Open the curtains boy It's time Somewhere tomorrow's promise rings Somewhere a Sunday choir sings Somewhere is where I want to be Time Square, it's a carnival Were there lights? I failed to notice But twenty seven needles lay In the cracks where I walk For all the dreams and the saviors we once knew All the flags we waved without a clue Open the curtains boy It's time Somewhere tomorrow's promise rings Somewhere a Sunday choir sings Somewhere is where I want to be In New Orleans lies the punishment Distorted eyes look past the crime scene Year after year, waiting to be found Somewhere tomorrow's promise rings Somewhere a Sunday choir sings Somewhere is where I want to be

Love's Way 04:53
Love, need we ask why Or wonder how Season's turn, feeling fade And slowly change It's just love's way Face to face, now we stand But miles away on different lands In different times our love lies We can't know why It's just love's way The journey was our only rhyme And reason to live this life The crossroads came to our separate ways We can't know why It's just love's way To your eyes I sing this song Words formed by pieces of a shattered heart Memory must fill the loss I feel It's just love's way

To Lover Her 04:04
Look into her captive eyes Her captive eyes Climb into her web of thought Her web of thought You can take what you want Brother get what you need But to love her is wrong Be careful what you believe Surrender to her arms They held you near to hide the cost Into her love you sink It's magic hold, it's magic hold You can take what you want Brother get what you need But to love her is wrong Be careful what you believe She's the moral of the story She's the hell in heavens search And the fire that keeps burning She's the lesson never learned What love is she embodies She is beauty never seen She's every word to draw you in And every word you believe

A heart with no shame behind curtains drawn I’ll be waiting for you, I’ll be waiting for you Behind the wall I sit, in only thought I see what will never change, what I know can be My faith I will rest with my hands by my side I resist the temptation, for what should be mine If wanted I am, then hers I will be of fear I am wary, in truth I believe And she comes without fail for hours she will speak but she never tells She comes again silently sits then with a simple glance tells me everything I know what I am, this will never change silhouette in the window, holding the flame It’s destiny’s hand, it’s touch I await I pace back and forth looking for no escape And she comes without fail for hours she will speak but she never tells She comes again silently sits then with a simple glance tells me everything Hold tight, the road you know it turns clear sight for the ones who chose to learn hold tight, the road you know It turns on you

Gina tries to understand why she holds so little in her hand and how she can't remember what has passed through A mirror finds wet Gina's eyes for reasons unidentified and if you ask her why she says, "I never cry" But far behind her calm expression lies the truth An image of a little girl flashes now in an older world before she was taught to need and learned to want You can ask but never understand the pain as my innocence burns she says "I was made a child that is what I am" But far beyond her pale white skin lies the truth she denies so not to face her battered innocence little memories carry her away for every beginning there must be an ending so to the child she returns Gina tries to understand why she holds so little in her hand and how she can't remember what has passed through

Lost 02:59
Circled by shadow for so long the fear of what is right or wrong resentment bred by giving, oh the cost I am here I am not here I am lost Angered by the love, the pain I cannot hide the house I labored to build cannot find a touch so strong the strength that once was Is it here It is not here It is lost Flicker flame as I rest my head held in the clutches of regret I go to trance in the candle red With every breath and step the search goes on with every day I discover I am torn did love lie beside me once? and is it here? it is not here it is lost I am here I am not here I am lost I am here here lost

It's not what you say it's what I feel from the words that once made me slip into happiness that saved me once betrayed me now I cannot believe in anything I cannot need anyone I will not search through the ruins for the fragments of a shattered heart Strung to the thin line between truth and lie love and hate, right and wrong Once crowned by love then crucified I cannot rise I cannot believe in anything I cannot need anyone I will not search through the ruins for the fragments of a shattered heart And boundless is the sea in this moment I have met the soul walking on my path In blindness and tranquility the bitter potion slowly heals I accept this seasons burning cold It burns me still

Goodbye 03:44
Your hands on the glass your face wet with tears goodbye A little girl in a big world you suffered, then suffered more If nothing last forever then why can't I forget my friend where have you been? Tears rolled down the glass the weird have killed us reasons never had I'm way out here and you're nowhere I know now 'till I die we will never touch the sky If nothing last forever then why can't I forget my friend where have you been?

I am the great pretender pretending I can't see The actor strikes a pose against the script he's given he blames every hand that ever laid upon him The clown, white, drips as he tries to recover all he's lost his heart, his soul he cannot find I am the great pretender Pretending I can't see In solitude he steps toward the waiting arms of a lonely night it is his life, it is his lover Boundaries marked by pain it keeps all passion in his pocket he buried the love that could not die I am the great pretender Pretending I can't see The comic slaps his side while tragedy sits on his shoulder have another drink, the night is so young While away another chapter waits patiently for it's hero who has yet to save a single day I am the great pretender Pretending I can’t see

March On 05:12
I'm slipping back into my shell never thought about it either way it should be gone by now but I guess it never left Like a novel whose last page I read first I'm somewhere in the middle now denying how it all turns out March on all you poor souls March on all you scared sinners March on I walk beside you Oh the days they pass so slowly now when you've seen the sum of their worth I remember when they moved too fast for me On the reins, my hands would stay now I have just let them go yet still they are still March on It's true I walk beside you now tomorrow's fear keeps love from hands I've written of chains hoping it would break me free But it didn't, it will be no different this time March on We reap what we sow but look at what we've been given it's truly impossible to build from nothing at all

I am searching for the missing piece that makes me whole the hate I feel for what I have become allows me no control truth has all but vanished from all I say and do if wishes did come true I'd wish for the purity I once knew I once knew I'm past the point of no return I'm past the point of caring I have screamed as loud as I can scream no one ever listens I am king of loneliness I can't give this crown away from never wanting anything I got too much of nothing As a boy I did believe if I closed my eyes I would disappear but I would always open them for fear it would be true too much time spent inside and this childhood logic is realized now look I have disappeared I closed my eyes too long too long I'm past the point of no return I'm past the point of caring I have screamed as loud as I can scream no one ever listens I am king of loneliness I can't give this crown away from never wanting anything I got too much of nothing
15.
Admit what you are like you admitted before you never hid you spoke the truth no matter what it is said about you Admit what you are like you did so many times write the words that lie inside it is still all you are I crossed my heart so many times not even I believe opened up my eyes to see love does not belong in hands like these There is nothing more to learn time to close, not for concern as the solemn sun sets You've read all the books made the meanings what you wished every lie you justified the lead role was always yours You cheated love then screamed rearranging every scene shaking loose in angers rage the foundation on which you stand I fought truth for oh so long my eyes can't see my heart won't feel in this corner I sit still but my thoughts never will There is nothing more to learn time to close, not for concern as the solemn sun sets

Who Are You? 05:01

about

Solemn Sun Setting features "Love's Way', "Lost", and "Single White Rose" and includes many stand-out moments from Violinist Jamii Szmadzinski. Other musicians include Michael Ciravolo on electric guitar and C.J Eiriksson on drums.

Quoted from the liner notes: "This album is a summation of all Human Drama work prior. And all days prior. It has been a time of reflecting and understanding. Though I am not foolish enough to think that this is just a stop on the road. I must allow the wear and tear of the journey thus far to completely heal before I continue. The sun must set...But it always rises again".
